This beautifully shot film about the life of Brazilian storyteller Roberto Ramos' early years in a government home for boys shows 13 year old Roberto illiterate, and surviving by using his vivid imagination to invent alternate realities. When a French researcher, Margherit, takes an interest in him, both their lives change forever.
